Timberline Lodge Wedding // Mt. Hood, OR // Marcella + Eric
It was quite the weather shock going from the sunny beaches of Kauai to the snowy mountainside in Oregon back to back!! Thankfully we were blessed with the most beautiful weather, it was like 50 degrees, blue skies, and I was sweating all day! Haha!!! The mountain was so crisp with clear blue skies, this venue seriously could not have been more epic for a whimsical winter wedding!!
I wanted to share a snippet from the bride on how these two met & got engaged, because I think it’s the cutest story!!!
“I got a text from Eric asking if I wanted to go to a Blazers game. He knew I was a huge fan and he had asked 7 other people and no one could go hah! Super romantic right. We became inseparable after that but not in a romantic way. We were best friends and always having so much fun together. Eventually we started catching feelings and one night I asked him to be my boyfriend in a photobooth (were notorious for photobooth photos). I asked Eric to marry me two months into dating. Sure I was drunk in the bathroom at a beach house but I meant it :) He said one day we’ll be married and that he’d be doing the asking haha. So last August he took me wine tasting and to have a picnic I n our favorite town, Hood River. We did this often so I wasn’t too caught off guard. However this time we went to a new place that had a field of wild flowers so after wine tasting we were able to hand pick our own bouquet—it was so dreamy! After wine tasting we went to another new spot for our picnic, Panorama View Point. I laid down the blanket and Eric brought over the bags and asked me to grab the last one. When I turned around he was on one knee. Holy goodness! I get to marry that sweet and fun man!!”
I mean… how adorable is that!!! So thankful these two asked me to be a part of their day.
