Boho Painted Hills Elopement // Mitchell, OR

I’ve shot a lot in the Painted Hills over the years… but this styled elopement holds a special place in my heart over several of the other shoots here because it was a labor of love that I got to create with my best friend, Corrie Mahr Photography, as this was our very first shoot of our Makers and Movers Workshop! This is something we hope to do for years to come, and we learned a TON on our first wedding photography workshop… lemme tell ya!!! But it was such a rewarding experience. Truly something so special about hosting a workshop & having students come from all over the country to learn from you and shoot alongside you! They were all such troopers for getting up super early with us so we could cram in TONS of teaching (more than most other workshops!) To staying up super late to drive back form our epic shoots & edit previews with all our fresh excitement! We are so thankful that all of these wedding photographers trusted us to fly all the way out to Oregon where we drove them to the middle of nowhere to shoot at one of Oregon’s seven wonders, The Painted Hills. We are also super thankful for our team of vendors who made this shoot possible, regardless of several unpredicted hiccups! They were rockstars! Corrie & I are over the moon excited for our next workshop in Joshua Tree early 2020.
