Sacred Sands Joshua Tree Wedding
Disco Desert Ball // Wedding at Sacred Sands
This wedding was the most epic combination of groovy disco meets modern boho at this stunning intimate wedding venue (Sacred Sands) just outside of Joshua Tree National Park. I had never been to this venue before but my first impression was WOW. Not only is the location fantastic (just a few minutes from the national park entrance), but the views are stunning all around the property and the building is so cute & all the rooms get great natural lighting!
Kylie + Colin got ready separately and I was so stunned by how gorgeous Kylie was (both before and after getting glammed up by her amazing MHUA!) We drove them separately into Joshua Tree National Park so we could do their first look there. After finishing portraits in the park we headed back to get ready for the ceremony.
The ceremony setup was absolutely phenomenal with gorgeous boho desert florals to match the backdrop! And obsessed would be an understatement when it comes to their “let’s boogie” welcome sign and their voicemail phonebook!!! I loved that they had guests throw little dried petals after their first kiss.
Their reception setup was an absolute DREAM to shoot and for the guests to enjoy. I mean.., the photos speak for themselves! The “Disco Ball” seating chart with customized keychains, the disco balls on the tabes mixed with boho florals and glassware. Everything was phenomenal (amazing vendor team listed below!)
After the sun went down they did speeches outside, then moved the party indoors for dancing, cake cutting and the champagne tower. Talk about cake goals!!! I am totally obsessed with their 70’s shag rug inspired cake. So rad.
