Soda Creek Colorful Camping Anniversary Photoshoot

A Dreamy Mountain Meadow Session With Riley & Daylin

There are some couples who become more than clients — they become friends you feel genuinely excited to see again. Riley and Daylin are absolutely that for me. Riley and Daylin are truly two of the most vibrant, joy-filled, ecstatic humans you’ll ever meet. Their energy is contagious — the kind of presence that instantly brightens every space they walk into.

This was my third time photographing them, and every time Riley reaches out, I swear my heart grows three sizes. She’s an insanely talented wedding and elopement photographer based in Southern Oregon, so for her to trust me with documenting their story… it’s the biggest honor every single time.

The first session we ever did together was an anniversary shoot in the middle of the desert in winter, then during the summer I photographed their long-awaited, colorful backyard wedding celebration, full of joy and personality and all the things that felt like them.

And now, this session.

We met in one of the most stunning locations in Central Oregon: a vibrant green meadow at Soda Creek, where a clear creek winds through the grass and multiple mountain peaks rise dramatically behind it all. It’s the kind of place you take one look at and immediately think, Yeah. This is where magic happens.

We spent the evening wandering through the meadow, laughing, catching up on life, and documenting the kind of love that feels both steady and adventurous. After the session, we all camped together at Soda Creek Campground — the perfect end to a slow, beautiful summer night. Riley and Daylin stayed even longer, soaking up a much-needed getaway in nature, unplugging, and grounding themselves in the quiet.

These two are the definition of warmth, creativity, and partnership, and getting to photograph their love story through these different chapters has been such a gift. I already can't wait for the next time our paths cross — cameras, campfires, mountains, or all of the above.
