An Epic Private Elopement in the Redwoods

I first started chatting with Kentize last fall about their dreams for an elopement amongst the Redwoods. They live in Texas and were so excited to make their way out to California to say their vows and make it official! Unfortunately, due to COVID, several airbnb cancellations, travel bans, etc in place, we had to postpone their elopement day 3 times. Each time it felt further and further away, and I think we were all seriously counting down the days till we could finally meet up and make it happen!!!

Even though the waiting was tough, I am so glad they held out for getting married in such a special place. We had thrown the idea around of changing locations so we could make it happen sooner, but I love that this particular location felt more special than the rest. It was well worth the wait!

These two are seriously the sweetest and I felt like I had the highest honor of being with them on this day! Even though they legally got married when originally planned, it was so incredible to see them say their vows to each other (which by the way, they just said off the top of their head! And they were legit the most beautiful EVER!!!!) I hope we can all meet again one day for anniversary photos!

“We started dating and knew we were getting married. We could’ve said I do a week into the relationship. It was one of those things where we just knew. There was never a proposal there was just a moment when we both decided we were tired of waiting on the perfect proposal moment and the perfect time for the wedding. We were both just ready to be husband and wife!”
