Washington Desert Anniversary Shoot // Vantage, WA

I had the honor of shooting Paige and Kevin’s wedding FIVE YEARS AGO!!!! Back when I was first really diving into wedding photography - which is so insane to think about. I knew Paige back in the day because her mom was my 5th grade teacher turned life-mentor, who also become one of my families good friends!!

These two are now parents to the cutest little girl, and it was so so fun to catch up on life, marriage, family, and everything they’ve experienced in the past 5 years together! This anniversary session was also so special for them because it was in a location that has carried a lot of meaning for them over the past however many years. They often escape to the beautiful desert in this part of Washington for a wine tasting getaway from the hustle and bustle of the west part of the state on the Puget Sound.

It was so special to capture them in a place that means so much to them, and that was just super insanely beautiful. Talk about an amazing sunset!!! Mikal and I brought our trailer with us and we even got to stay on a gorgeous lake right down the road, and we had the place all to ourselves. Everyone loved it! Hope to go back for future shoots here!
