Summer Wedding at Mt. Hood Organic Farms
Best Mount Hood Wedding Venue
Mount Hood Organic Farms is hands down the best wedding venue in the Mount Hood/Hood River area. The venue is situated on a 200 acre private estate that features wedding locations such as the Apple House, the Greenhouse, and other epic outdoor spaces with pristine views of Mount Hood. The venue site features lush gardens, gorgeous sunset views of the mountain, unique craftsman wood features (Apple House) with black and white checkered floors and beautiful teal tile walls.
When the sun kisses down behind the hills, the mountain glows and all the colors of the property come to life.
Not only are the views stunning, but the catering is some of the best fresh, seasonal, organic, local Pacific Northwest food you’ll ever eat! The venue staff are fantastic and will help you plan the wedding day of your dreams.
At Mount Hood Organic Farms you can have up to 175 guests in any of the indoor or outdoor spaces. The site has a beautiful lawn ceremony area with the mountain as your backdrop and gardens all around. After the ceremony the staff will lead guests to the cocktail area which is nestled between trees, a pond, and the orchards. On the way to the reception space it is tradition to stop for a photo with ALL of your guests! This is one of my favorite shots the venue helps create for each couple.
As your guests walk into the Apple House, their breath will be taken away by the unique building features (and of course your gorgeous wedding setup)! This wedding venue is highly sought after and only open Memorial Day weekend through the first weekend of October (Saturdays and Sundays only!) If you’re hoping to get married here, make sure to get on their calendar as far in advance as possible since they book up quickly!
The Couple
THEIR STORY: Kai and I met in college and have been together for almost a decade now. Kai is from Hawaii and Oregon, an impossible combination of a workaholic and surfer dude. I'm from South Carolina, but anything but a Southern Belle. I work as a creative director for nonprofits and I snort virtually every time I laugh. We've adventured through Savannah, GA, Hong Kong, the Carolinas, California, Kauai, and more together. We always seem to make our best memories on the beach. Kai proposed at Hanalei Bay, the same beach where his father proposed to his mother.
THE WEDDING VIBE: It's the right amount of whimsy with stunning natural beauty. Our aesthetic is not dissimilar to your own branding - a 70s retro, boho vibe with warm tones. Our designs include yellows and oranges and we hope for the day to be bright and inviting, not too formal.
