Tulum Beach Destination Wedding // QROO, Mexico

When I first shot N + A last summer in Oregon for their engagement photos they were still undecided on wedding plans. They just knew it would be a smaller group, and they wanted some sort of tropical destination with a beach.

Fast forward to this year and a few zoom calls later after brainstorming ideas, and they landed on Tulum Mexico! I sent them a few epic beach houses they could rent out on airbnb to host their event, and they ended up choosing the most beautiful home: Villa La Semilla. With their amazing planning team, the home quickly became a stunning micro wedding venue for them!

The entire event would have been outdoors but we had some rain off and on all day, so they went for a cozier indoor setup which was still gorgeous. The day started with N + A getting ready separately and seeing each other down the aisle of their beach ceremony.

The ceremony was absolutely stunning right on the beach and with the perfect floral decor as their arch. Everyone threw petals at them as they exited and headed straight to the cocktail bar for one of their featured drinks that everyone loved!

Once the reception portion of toasts, dinner, and 1st dances was coming to a close, the REAL PARTY began! This was one of the most lit dance floors I’ve ever seen! People dancing around the pool, in the pool, having liquor poured straight in their mouths from the bartenders! Everyone had the time of their lives, and the night only got better and better once the churro cart arrived and everyone jumped in the pool together!
