Rockhouse Hotel Wedding // Negril, Jamaica

This tropical dream wedding in Negril Jamaica overlooking teal blue waters on the cliffside of Rockhouse Hotel was truly, truly, one for the books.

Alyssa & Travis invited us into their wedding weekend with so much joy! My husband and I LITERALLY could not have been more blessed to join these two and their friends & family all weekend to celebrate the bomb couple!!! That’s my favorite aspect of destination weddings - you basically get to vacation with your closest homies all weekend and you aren’t limited to just one night of fun! We got to explore a little bit with the bride, groom, wedding party and some of their friends the day before their wedding, and the other days we got to relax and soak up the sunshine before the crazy weather hit.

Even though plans changed last minute (They had to change the location of their venue because it was like 2 feet deep under water… no joke. The whole thing flooded because of the massive waves that day & from the night before!!!) the day ended up going perfectly and the excitement level was still so high, even after a stressful morning of not knowing what might happen.

I was so honored to have had the opportunity to shoot somewhere that meant so much to my couple & to their families. It was truly a unique and beautiful experience to blend these two families and cultures together for a weekend of celebration!!!

PS: Let me just say… Jamaicans know how to party hard. The dance floor was LITTTTTTT (and also SUPER sweaty, hahahahaha!!!) Take the humidity of Jamaica, add 60 people into a small room, add some hardcore dancing & yummy drinks, and then you can imagine the scene that was their wedding night. It was SO. GOSH. DANG. FUN.
